Switchboard Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Switchboard handles user data, including Google Workspace data authorized through OAuth.

What Switchboard Does

Switchboard is a managed Model Context Protocol gateway operated by ZeroArc and Fp Digital. It lets approved AI clients connect to business services through user-authorized accounts, scoped API keys and governed execution paths.

The public application homepage is https://mcpswitchboard.com. The privacy policy is https://mcpswitchboard.com/privacy.

Google Workspace Data We May Access

If you authorize Google Workspace access, Switchboard may access only the Google data needed for the scopes you approve. This may include Gmail messages and metadata, Calendar events, Drive files and metadata, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks, Contacts, profile data and related Workspace records.

The exact data available depends on the Google scopes granted during OAuth and the tools enabled for your account or organization.

How We Use Google User Data

We use Google user data to provide the requested Switchboard MCP tools, maintain authorized connections, route user-initiated actions, refresh OAuth tokens, troubleshoot support issues, protect the service, generate audit records and comply with legal or security obligations.

Switchboard does not sell Google user data. Switchboard does not use Google user data for advertising.

AI and Model Training

Switchboard does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

When a user chooses to connect an AI assistant or MCP client to Switchboard, Google data may be sent to that user-selected client only as necessary to complete the user-requested action. That third-party client is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

Sharing and Transfers

We share data only when necessary to operate Switchboard, provide a requested integration, support the service, comply with law or protect users and systems. Infrastructure and service providers may process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not transfer Google user data to another application for purposes unrelated to providing or improving user-facing Switchboard functionality, security, compliance or support.

Storage, Security and Retention

OAuth tokens and service credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to authorized runtime paths needed to complete permitted tool calls. Switchboard is built on Cloudflare Workers and related Cloudflare infrastructure.

We retain tokens while your connection remains active. Audit, diagnostic and security records are retained only as needed for operations, compliance, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required by law or security obligations.

Your Choices

You can revoke Google access through your Google Account security settings. You can also ask ZeroArc or Fp Digital to disconnect a Switchboard service connection or delete data associated with your account, subject to legal, security and operational retention requirements.

After access is revoked, Switchboard can no longer use the revoked Google OAuth token. Some audit records may remain for security and compliance purposes.

Google API Limited Use

Switchboard use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
